
Biography
Kathie Sharkey has more than 20 years of experience working as a Kinesiologist. She has been helping people that have low back, neck, shoulder, knee injuries, and other joint injuries to recover from these injuries and lead an active lifestyle. She also has experience working with people that have been in motor vehicle accidents and work related accidents, to help them return to their pre-accident levels. Kathie works with people who have MS, Parkinson's, arthritis, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, and other chronic pain conditions, to assist them in developing an exercise program that is safe and appropriate for their condition.
Kathie is passionate about her profession of Kinesiology and consistently works to develop her profession. Kathie was a member of the 2012/2013 College of Kinesiologists exam committee. She has sat on the Board of Directors for the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario (2013-2016) and she is currently the President for the Canadian Kinesiology Alliance (2016-current).
